Each dog starts out with a thorough bathing, no harsh chemicals, using shampoos that we have narrowed down to be the best at what they do. They eliminate built up dirt, grease, oil and odor to leave your pet feeling and smelling fresh and clean. Last’s longer and NO WET DOG SMELL!

Flea & Tick Treatment

We offer an all natural flea & tick treatment. No harsh chemicals. Although we can eliminate fleas and ticks on your initial visit, it’s up to you as owners to maintain it. Treat your yards, house, and pet bedding to prevent re-infestation.

Serious Odor Removal

From time to time, occasionally, your pet may face a skunk head on, resulting in your pet being “SKUNKED”. We can get the smell out! Not only that, but our standard shampoos eliminate most odors on their own.

Clipping

We do nail clipping both during our grooming service and also in between grooming as a maintenance to keep the quick’s set back. We also help in resetting the quick’s in pets nails that have not been able to be properly maintained, for whatever reason.

Painting

Painting of the nails can be a fun and fashionable addition to your grooming service. We offer this as well.

Ear Cleaning

We also include cleaning of the ears, as it’s also important to your pets health. At the same time, we will make you aware of any concerns in that area so you can take steps to fix it.

Hand Scissored Sculpted Perfection

We offer careful, sometimes time taking until we feel it’s just right, hand scissored “SCULPTED” haircuts. We take great care in making sure you get the haircut you want, and take no offense in making it right for “YOU”.

Gentle De Matting

Sometimes your pet can be slightly matted or severely matted. We understand and it happens. At the same time, it can be a timely process to remove. At Doggies In The Ruff, we take the time according to the severity to gently rid your pet of matted fur.

Whether you need a full hand scissor, face-feet-fanny/sanitary trim, summer shave/anytime shave, little off here – little off there, Doggies In The Ruff will help you get the haircut you want. At the same time, we will do our very best to help you decide and recommend things specific to your breed. But, ultimately the decision is “YOURS”. We want you to have the haircut “YOU” want!

Soothing Sensitive Skin Shampoo

Let’s face it, not all pets coats and skin are the same and some are more sensitive than others. For this reason, we take special care to make sure we use a special shampoo for these occasions that won’t irritate or worsen those with these conditions.

Super Soft Conditioners

Each pet’s coat is conditioned and treated to obtain that particular pet’s optimum super softness. We strive to make your pets coat all it can be!

Nails

It’s important for the well being of you pets health that you keep their nails trimmed. Nails that are over grown can break easily and if below the quick, can be very painful for your pet. It can also cause trouble walking and can lead to development of arthritis. We include this in our grooming, and make it extremely affordable to get them done in between grooming when needed.

Filing

We also offer the filing of nails upon request. Normally your pet will naturally wear the freshly cut nails down after a few minutes of walking. So, as to not add additional stress to your pet with the sound of the nail grinder and the “feeling” of nail filing, we do offer upon request of the owner only, providing your pet agrees as well. 🙂

We also include checking and expressing the anal glands when necessary.

Face, Feet & Fanny – Sanitary Trim

Sometimes your pet may only need a good bath and clean up around the face, the feet and potty areas. Both as an on going service in itself for certain breeds or as an in between haircuts freshening up. We can take care of you!
